And so like the countdown to midnight, here's my top 10 memorable moments, memories and miscellany from this past year. I learned, I loved and I'd like to think next year will be even better.
8. The human body can totally betray you with no warning whatsoever.

5. Facebook - like Katy says, it's hot, then it's cold. I hate it. I love it. But it reconnected me to tons of people.
4. Sometimes, something comes along that amazes me. What surprises me is that it remains virtually overlooked in the shadow of other pop-culture phenomenons.
3. Disco, KB-BK, Mummy Toe, TM and the other people who read this space where I try to get my creative on. I love writing here. I love it that you keep reading. Hope you will in 2009, too.
